This is a friend of mine who is expecting a baby boy in October! I will be photographing his birth if the timing works out and I cannot wait! He just may be photographed more than Ryleigh, his mommy loves portraits like I do! Being the wonderful friend that she is, she graciously volunteered to let me do some more unique and daring maternity portraits of her. She even gave me permission to post them!! So, here is round one of her photo session, the outdoors ones are scheduled for next week. Doesn't she have the most beautiful baby "bump"?

It's my 100th post!! Sweet!

Yes, it's her again!

Last night we were all relaxing outside and my husband was grilling steaks for dinner. A normal person would have sat there and relaxed and enjoyed the moment. Well, I tried but I am not normal! I decided to take Ryleigh across the street and take some pictures of her. She has the cutest non-smiling face, but I am never able to capture it because she is ALWAYS smiling. She also makes "raspberries" and her lips do the most adorable pursed together look but again, it's hard to capture. And she is sitting up so well now, there are just too many memories I want on "film" even though they are forever etched in my heart so I had to try! The grass was pretty tall and the hardest stiffest grass I have ever seen, so there is nothing under that blanket besides grass even though it may look like there is something lumpy under there! Okay, I have a confession. Ryleigh is not a thumb sucker. None of my children have ever been thumb suckers. I have secretly wished one of them would be just for a day so I could get a thumb sucking picture because they completely melt my heart. Well, this is close enough!!

It's LIVE!!

I am heading off to photograph a wedding today, but I just had to pop in and let you know that my new website is LIVE! It is much easier to navigate than my old site, the gallery images run on a slideshow, and my clients can now place their orders directly online!!

Sweetie Pie

Remember Mason? I post his newborn pictures on here about 3 months ago. He is now 3 months old and such a sweetie pie! I had the pleasure of taking his portraits again last week and am finally getting around to proofing them. I haven't done a baby in the studio for quite some time, but mom wanted similar pictures to his big brother Chace, so we had a great time photographing him in my studio. Here are just a few of my favorites:

Getting caught up...

I have been swamped lately, and have completely neglected my blog! First things first, it has been brought to my attention that the contact form on my website is not working properly. I apologize to anyone who has tried to use it and hasn't heard back from me, please send me an email at photographybykristenwagner@yahoo.com and I will get back to you ASAP! Also, I was out of town and lost my cell phone, so if you left me a voicemail recently and haven't heard back from me, you will soon! I am almost caught up on returning voicemails.

NOW FOR THE EXCITING NEWS!!
After numerous emails about offering workshops or mentoring, I decided to take the plunge. I will be taking on 3 people to offer one on one mentoring to. I haven't worked out all of the details yet, but each person will get a personalized mentoring service. This first set will also received half off for helping me work out the kinks, so if you are interested please email me and I will give you more details.

Also, my new website is coming along great and I hope to have it up very soon!! If you noticed the colorful change to my blog, it will coordinate nicely with the new website! I will post as soon as it's up!
