Quick post

This is just a quick post to let everyone know that I have been very ill and spent some time in the hospital this past week. If you are waiting on something for me or to hear back from me, it will be very soon, I promise! If it's an emergency, please call my cell phone. Thank you!

Congratulations Richard and Kelly!

Richard and Kelly were married in BEAUTIFUL Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!! My husband and I were elated to have the opportunity to attend and photograph their wedding. It was amazing to say the least. The view was breathtaking and Kelly was a gorgeous bride. They were blessed to have several family memebers there to share in their special day. It was such an incredible wedding and they are such a fantastic couple! There were tons of onlookers as they were married on the beach near sunset. And their reception was the most beautiful set up I have ever seen! Richard also gets huge bonus points, his toast to Kelly during dinner was THE best speech I have ever heard, hands down! The day after the wedding we went to Tulum and did a "trash the dress" session which was SO much fun, but I will post images from that another day. Here are just a few from their wedding day!

Sweet baby Avery!

This little sweetheart is going to melt your heart! She is so precious and has a head full of soft sweet baby hair. I was lucky enough to visit her home and photograph that ever so fleeting newborn stage. Her grandma and great grandma were also visiting, so we were able to take a 4 generation portrait! Welcome to the world, Avery!

Happy Birthday Jayda!

Ok, her birthday isn't really until next week, but isn't she just the cutest?! She loved smearing the frosting all over her face and in her hair! There are so many cute ones but I am pressed for time so this is a quick sneak peek!

Why?

Why is it that when your babies feel sick you feel worse than they do? Not physically worse, but emotionally. Ryleigh has had a cold for a while, and this morning it progressed into something much worse. Her cough became unbearable for her and for me. She was absolutely miserable so straight into her pediatricians office we went. She was born with pneumonia and that makes her much more prone to getting it as she grows up. Her cold developed into some severe congestion and junk in her lungs. Luckily we took her in before it developed into something worse. She had to have a nebulizer treatment at the doctors office and have her oxygen levels monitored until they were high enough to send us home. We are so grateful that she was able to get them up and we didn't have to make a trip to the hospital. Now I have the task of giving her nebulizer treatments at home until she is better.

First I let Ryeligh inspect the mask:

Then she decided to swing it around by the strap:

Then she had to "taste" it ;) :

After all that, she is now acquainted with the cute little elephant mask! Don't worry, I didn't let her break anything! The good news is that now the neb is familiar to her and not just some scary thing they made her do at the doctors office! She did AWESOME with her first treatment! Now we just hope they all go that well!

Congratulations Erica and Mike!

Erica and Mike were married in an intimate ceremony in Burnsville a few weeks ago! They had their friends and family there to support them and the love they share shined through! Their wedding was planned with the help of a dear friend who also prepared their food! It was delicious! Mike is from Wisconsin and Erica moved there right after the wedding! Mike is a Packers fan and Erica is a Vikings fan so we'll see how the Vikings fan holds up in Wisconsin! Here are just a few of Erica and Mike!

And since today is the holiday order deadline, I am going to get back to work submitting orders!
