Mady's Photography!
Okay, there is a very good chance I will take this post down and realize I am crazy so you'd better look now! Anyways, Mady (my 4 year old) loves taking pictures about as much as I do. Today she asked me if she could take pictures of her baby sister. I soon realized she meant my tummy! But, she didn't want to just snap a few, she wanted me to change clothes, set up the background, and everything! Any of you that know me personally know that I get HUGE when I am pregnant. So even though we have 10 weeks to go, I figured that my belly was big enough to let her take some pictures. She did a great job and had a lot of fun. Leighton stepped in for a few and she was laughing at him "belly bumping" me so hard I was afraid she'd drop the camera! Anyways, here are some of the pictures that she took of my gigantic pregnant belly!

Need a laugh??
I decided on a new "theme" for Christmas cards for the 4th time in the last two months. I searched and searched for the perfect matching pajamas for the kids, put up the Christmas tree, bought cookies for "Santa" and planned everything to a T. The only thing I didn't take into account is that my children suffer from photographer's child syndrome. They really really make me work for a decent picture of them! They know all of my tricks and don't fall for them anymore. The only thing that worked this year was to pretend like I was taking them with Leighton's viewmaster (he calls it a camera) and actually take them with my camera one handed! It was quite a difficult task. I can't share the actual cards until we've sent them out, but I thought I would show you some of the outtakes in case you need a good laugh! I will put one of Mady putting lights in the window too because it's cute.
And I thought this one looked like Santa walked in and caught Leighton eating his cookies!

Thankful...
There are so many things to be thankful this Thanksgiving. If I tried to make a list someone or something would be left out. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner prepared with love by my husband and got to spend the day at home. No traveling, no distractions, just us. It was great. One of the things I am most thankful for is my family. I am so thankful for everyone close to me, especially my husband and two (soon to be three) children. Here are a few pictures of Mady and Leighton!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
