Three kids under the age of 5...
can be quite a challenge! Remember Parker?? He was one of my first posts on this blog about a year ago. Well, he is now one year old and walking! His big brother is almost three and his big sister is four! I could not believe how much they have grown since I saw them last fall. Here are just a few to share with you!

Oh boy
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for all of your sweet comments from yesterday's post. It means the world to me that so many of you take the time to comment!
Happy birthday to my mother-in-law! We won't be able to see her this year because she moved, but I sent her a collage with pictures of my husband and the kids!
Now the yucky stuff. Poor Ryleigh's spit up on my backdrop yesterday has turned into full blown vomitting. She has not kept a bottle down for the past 24 hours and I am trying to keep her hydrated and out of the hospital. Leighton has also been sick and I swear I cannot even see the end in sight yet! I guess when it rains it pours! The pictures from today are right after Ryleigh's third time vomitting today. I stripped her down and wrapped her in a towel so I could clean up the mess. When I was done I went to get her to give her a bath and she looked so cute I couldn't help but get the camera. She looks so happy, you can't even tell the poor girl is miserable!
Another thing real quicly! I have been asked time and time again about my kids' names so I figured it's about time I explain them. First of all, Mady is short for Madyson. It was the third choice for me and my husband so that's what we ended up with. Her middle name is Vegas Lynne!! Vegas is from Las Vegas, and I won't go into any more detail in case my grandma reads this! Lynne is after her grandma, my husbands mom. Leighton was by accident. I was watching Trauma Life in the ER when I was pregnant with him when I heard it. I wanted something different since there are so many Madisons in the world! It never even occurred to me to spell it any differently (Layton, etc). Quite a while after we had it picked I realized that we loved to go see a local band GB Leighton, but that is not where his name came from. His middle name is Wagner. It is my maiden name (obviously!), but we chose it after my dad and two brothers who have passed away. I couldn't only honor one or two of them and my husband decided Wagner would be a great way to honor all of them! Gotta' love that man! Ryleigh was a tough one. We could not agree on a name for the life of us! Mady had wanted to name her Gracelynn, and we almost did. I had really wanted Dawsyn or Savanna, my husband really wanted Shelby or Ashleigh. Finally we decided on Ryleigh. It is spelt that way because Leigh is my husband's middle name (after his grandma) and my grandma's middle name! A good way to honor three people at once if you ask me! Her middle name is Renae, after me. We were going to do Kay after my mom, but she begged me not to! Anyways, if you made it through all of that bless you! Hopefully that answered people's questions about their names!

Ryleigh again
I know, I know. More pictures of Ryleigh?! I gave you a little break and posted some new people, but today Ryleigh was my only subject. The 2-5 month range is a hard one to photograph. Babies are just getting their personalities, but aren't yet sitting. They smile and coo for mom and dad, but not always for the camera. Taking pictures of Ryleigh nearly everyday is really helping me to come up with some better ideas for babies this age. It will definately come in handy for clients with babies this age as well. The age I once dreaded photographing I now look forward to. Anyways, here are a few of Ryleigh from today. Isn't that hat just adorable? I got it at the Gap with a gift card from our friend Shannon. I love it on her! I even got out my seamless paper today, pretty ambitious for me! Now I have to cut off and throw away a pretty big chunk of it too because Ryleigh spit up all over it!

All girls
This is my cousin and her 3 beautiful daughters. These girls are 4 of my favorite girls in the whole wide world. My cousin (the mom), has an amazing ability to be like a mom and a cousin to me all at the same time. She was there for me when my dad died when I was 19 and helped me through. I used to babysit her oldest, Sydney, and used to love to dress her up in all of her little clothes. I used to say that when I grew up I wanted to have a daughter just like her. She may be just as tall as I am now, but she is still my "munchkin." Then about 2 years ago, Reese was born. She was a long awaited for baby, and boy was she worth the wait. She is full of spunk and sweetness at the same time, and my heart melted the first time I saw her wear piggy tails. She is also completely in love with Cheetos, and the way she says Cheetos makes me giggle. Finally came Emersyn. I couldn't believe when I heard that she was a girl. I thought for sure they would have at least one boy! She was born about 3 weeks before my Ryleigh, so I hope that they grow to be great friends. She had such a head of hair, and has come to have the most stunning blue eyes! Emmy is such a sweet little addition to our family, and I am looking forward to watching her grow. They did these for Father's Day, and he is one lucky man to get to see these 4 beautiful girls everday!
