I should be cleaning

Tomorrow Ryleigh turns 1. I would be lying if I said I was excited for her big day. She is my last baby and turning one takes a way just a bit of the "babyness". I nearly cried today watching my husband haul out a lot of her baby things that are going to a woman who is expecting. We are having a house FULL of people this weekend to celebrate Ryleigh's amazing first year. I hate having company over without everything in perfect order, it nearly sends me into a panick. So, today should have been spent cleaning. But, knowing this is Ryleigh's last day of her first year, I spent as much time as I could cuddling her. Actually, I do that everyday, but today I really should have focused my time elsewhere! And of course, I had to take a few picture of her today! I am going to order one as a huge canvas once I can pick my favorite! I tried to do one a bit old and vintage looking, but I am not sure I pulled it off.

Happy birthday, Ryleigh! We share a birthday, but it looks much better on her. These shots are darling, Kristen. Love the conversion in the first, and that flirty, over-the-shoulder look in the last. What a doll! Seeing her brightens my day.

Aww, what a bittersweet day! I bawled.my.eyes.out when Kaitlyn turned 1! Actually I cry every year since she is my last baby too!

There is no way I could pick a fave, good luck! I think any one of these would make a gorgeous canvas!

Awwww....soooo precious!
I know exactly how you are feeling! And don't spend one minute worrying about not cleaning today (I know, easier said than done). Instead, you did what really matters and that was enjoy your baby!

And, I HAVE to know where you got your twig basket!!!

These are all so sweet! How are you ever going to pick ONE? Maybe you could do one large one with three smaller ones down the left and right sides? Those expressions are just too cute! Hope the party goes off smoothly!
