It's our anniversary today!

Today is our wedding anniversary! The park we were married in last year is now completely flooded thanks to an insane amount of rain in Mason City, Iowa. I am so thankful that is was not flooded for our big day. It had rained quite a bit and they warned us that one more day of rain and the park would not be open (we were married on a bridge). Luckily we were very blessed and had perfect weather.

And while Jonathan was out of town last week, I decided to do a little kitchen remodel for his anniversary gift. I painted the cabinets and had a new countertop installed. The tile backsplash my mom is buying us for an anniversary gift, but it's not done yet.

Here's the tile. It's just nailed up, no grout or anything yet.


Jonathan heads to San Fransisco tomorrow for a few days and I think he's afraid I'll do more remodeling while he's gone. I am far to exhausted to even think about it though!
